The liver is the organ that consume most energy beside the muscles. That makes it an important target for weight loss and for burning fat. Green Tea

A study published in the December 1999 issue of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, led by Dr. Dullo at the University of Geneva, indicates that substances in green tea extract may actually promote weight loss. Men given a combination of both caffeine and green tea extract burned more fat calories than those given caffeine or placebo alone.

The scientists believed that the catechin flavonoids in green tea may alter the body's use of norepinephrine, a chemical transmitter in the nervous system, to increase the rate of calorie burning. They concluded, 'Green tea has thermogenic properties and promotes fat oxidation beyond that explained by its caffeine content per se'.

Green tea also lowers cholesterol, reduces the risk of stroke, protects against cancer, prevents teeth cavities and has anti-inflammatory action.

Omega 3 Fish Oil

Omega-3 oils serve numerous bodily processes and are particularly good for the immune system and heart as well as arthritis, skin conditions, pre-menstrual tension, mental function, improving memory and reducing depressive symptoms. Omega 3 oils also play a role in burning fats within the body and as such can aid weight-management.

This is due to its effects on insulin, reducing levels in the body. Insulin promotes the use of fat for storage and reduces the use of fat for fuel, hence lower insulin levels mean greater conversion of fat for energy rather than storage.

The best Omega-3 oil sources are oily fish like sardines, salmon and mackerel. Plant sources include flaxseeds (the richest plant source), walnuts, pumpkin seeds, green leafy vegetables, evening primrose oil, wheat germ and spirulina.

У Киева нет денег на ремонт Андреевской церкви

Выделенных Кабинетом министров десяти миллионов гривен из резервного фонда государственного бюджета на проведение аварийно-ремонтных работ Андреевской церкви в Киеве хватит лишь на первоочередные меры по укреплению склона и фундамента церкви.

Об этом сообщил начальник Главного управления охраны культурного наследия Киевской городской государственной администрации Руслан Кухаренко.

По словам Кухаренко, три миллиона гривен из отмеченных 10 миллионов уже поступили на счет Национального заповедника София Киевская, который определен заказчиком работ по Андреевской церкви.

«Конечно, этих 10 миллионов хватит только на первоочередные меры по укреплению склона и фундаментов Андреевской церкви. Все остальные работы требуют еще 30 миллионов гривен в целом. Это работы по реставрации паперти, горизонтальной гидроизоляции и гидроизоляции самой Андреевской церкви, ее стен. Надо очень серьезно заняться этим памятником, чтобы он оставался жемчужиной всемирного значения. Таких средств пока не предусмотрено», - сказал Кухаренко.

По его информации, заказчики уже провели сбор тендерных предложений на исполнителя работ по укреплению склона и фундамента церкви и, по его словам, уже на следующей неделе должен быть определен победитель этого тендера.

После рассмотрения всех жалоб участников тендера с победителем будет подписан контракт. Это уже даст возможность подрядчику начать проводить соответствующие работы по реставрации храма, сообщает Благовест.

На вопрос, когда реально могут быть начаты строительные работы, Кухаренко сказал, что на данный момент это сложно спрогнозировать.

Кухаренко пояснил, что после подписания договора с победителем тендера необходимо будет получить выводы экспертизы на запланированные работы, соответствующие разрешения и ордера, оформить соответствующие распоряжения КГГА. Вместе с тем он подчеркнул, что к зиме работы по укреплению склона и фундамента Андреевской церкви должны быть завершены. «Зимой не имеют права проводить эти работы, поскольку может просто съехать со склона Андреевская церковь», - сказал Кухаренко.

Напомним, что в апреле этого года Кабинет министров выделил из резервного фонда государственного бюджета 10 миллионов гривен на проведение аварийно-ремонтных работ Андреевской церкви в Киеве.

I get very frustrated on my visits to my local gyms. As a highly qualified personal trainer it frustrates me that I cannot help more people get in truly amazing shape. People these days are making so many fundamental errors. Form, technique, work rate and effort are all notable factors for a poor workout.

With so many people out of shape, I have offered my services to many and some have taken them up to loose loads of weight and transform, their lives. However, the majority keep wasting an hour a day at the gym, probably doing more damage to their bodies by being there exercising the way they are.

Monotonous CV work will reduce your lean mass, reducing your metabolism significantly, making you far more likely to put on weight if the exercise ever stopped. Muscle is beneficial tissue that boosts metabolism, with recent research showing that an extra 1pound of muscle tissue accumulates to 50 kcal more on your basal metabolic rate. So theoretically by gaining 1 lbs of muscle you will be able to eat an extra 50 kcal per day.

In gyms, I see massive mistakes being made by 95% of the visitors. Let's face it all the staff at these places want to do is finish work, they don't really care about getting you into amazing, head turning shape. This is evident for most of their body language and the distinct lack of interest they take in you as individuals.

So If people perhaps cannot afford to pay a personal trainer his hourly rate, alternative options are needed to educate the gym members. Group personal training is one option available. Group personal training is far cheaper than a 1:1 personal training session, higher energy due to more people taking part and you also have the opportunity to bring your friends along.

To find group personal training in your village, check out your local directories, internet and ask friends. The group personal training or bootcamp take place weekly in a place near you. They are the new thing in fitness! They are massive and are coming to a place near you soon. So ditch the local leisure centre, or gym that you've been at for years with no results for some where new, exciting and challenging!

Your body will be grateful, you'll have the opportunity to make new friends and having an expert train you is sure to get you body results. Many gyms do not have the greatest facilities in terms of health and fitness, but this should not restrict you for settling for anything other than a healthy, fit and toned body.
